Rain and hail hit the yard last week and the cab stayed bone-dry thanks to that five-layer build. The privacy factor is a bonus—I can leave gear in the seat without worrying about prying eyes. Fit is tight enough that it hasn't flapped once in the wind.
Took it through a week of rain and heavy wind, and the cab stayed completely dry—those five layers actually earn their keep. The softback material is thicker than I expected, so it doesn't flap around like cheaper covers. Privacy’s a nice bonus too; no one can see inside from the street.
The custom fit is spot on—it hugs the cab without any flapping in the wind. I left it on through two heavy rainstorms and the interior stayed bone dry, so that 5-layer weather resistance is doing its job.
