The rubberized vinyl is stiff enough to hold its shape but still flexes when I tug it out for a rinse. Rainy week left mud caked in the grooves, and a quick hose-down got them looking new again. Fits the cargo area like it was measured with a ruler.
Third set of these I've bought for different cars, and the rubberized vinyl lip keeps rain and slush from creeping over the edges. They've got a nice grippy texture underfoot, not that slippery plastic feel, and the deep channels actually hold a flooded parking lot mess without leaking.
